Governor Signs 2021-22 State Budget, Which Restores Funding To Dramatic Cuts Made In Colorado During The Pandemic

Gov. Jared Polis has signed the state budget for Colorado for 2021-2022. He says it restores funding to dramatic cuts made during the pandemic.

JIM BENEMANN: Governor Polis signs the state budget for the next fiscal year. It totals just over $34 billion. Some lakers-- lawmakers, rather-- joined him at the Capitol today for the occasion. The governor says the budget restores funding for many of the dramatic cuts that had to be made during the pandemic. It does include more money for education, also setting aside money for the state's reserve fund.
