Governors Brian Kemp, Greg Abbot hold friendly wager over college football championship

Ahead of the college football national championship between UGA and TCU, the governors of both states are having a little fun.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbot reached out to Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp via Twitter with a friendly wager on tonight's game, putting some Texas barbecue and a Lone Star beer on the line.

Kemp responded, putting up some chopped pork and Brunswick stew from Fresh Air Bar-B-Que, a chain with locations in Jackson, Macon, Athens and Bogart.

Abbott agreed, setting the stage for Texas and Georgia to pit its pulled pork against one another, along with the pigskin. Georgia and TCU kickoff at 7:30 p.m. eastern at SoFi Stadium.
