Oct. 12—CORBIN — Media were invited this week to tour the brand new Grace Health Medical Campus.

Located at 14662 N. US 25E in Corbin, this state-of the-art facility is set to open on November 6 and promises to become a cornerstone of healthcare excellence for the Tri-County community.

According to Chief Financial Officer Chad Stevens, the 90,000 square-foot facility represents at $35 million project some five years in the making.

It will allow Grace Health to transition several local clinics — and some 450 employees — to the new medical campus. The Gray Clinic, Bishop Street Clinic and Pharmacy, Falls Highway Clinic and both pediatric clinics will now be under one roof for streamlined operations and promotion of a collaborative healthcare environment.

In addition to primary family care, internal medicine and pediatrics, the new medical campus is expanding Grace Health's services to include dental, retail and clinical pharmacy and behavioral health for an integrated approach aimed to enhance accessibility to high-quality care.

"We're very excited," Stevens said. "We had a vision to build a state-of-the-art facility where our patients feel valued and our staff are proud to work. To see it nearing completion only strengthens our drive to fulfill our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare to our community."

In a strategic collaboration that underscores their commitment to excellence, Grace Health has partnered with Baptist Health Corbin to provide enhanced diagnostic services to the facility.

The community will get a chance to take a sneak peek at the Grace Health Medical Campus and its comprehensive services with a public open house set for October 25 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Stevens noted the facility includes 85 exam rooms, 10 dental chairs and six pharmacy drive-up bays.

A grand opening ribbon-cutting is planned for spring 2024.

Grace Health was established in 2008 in Knox County as a primary healthcare provider and recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving Bell, Clay, Knox, Laurel, Leslie and Whitley counties.
