Have a graduating senior in Jefferson County? We want to hear from you

Hundreds of seniors across Jefferson County are set to take the stage and receive their diplomas next month, an accomplishment the whole community should celebrate.

The Class of 2023 had the start of their high school careers drastically altered by the COVID-19 pandemic and still managed to succeed in unchartered waters. Given their sacrifices, The Courier Journal wants to work with Louisville families to honor their hard work.

Have a senior? Here's when and where each JCPS school will hold 2023 graduation ceremonies

We are collecting letters and baby photos for the Class of 2023 to publish in a special online story this June. Aside from sharing what makes you so proud of your graduate, the letters can include advice for college, life or whatever else you'd like to share before they embark on their next steps in life.

Want to participate? Submit your letter here

The deadline for the letters, accompanied by your favorite childhood photo of your senior, is May 31. Please also include your senior's name and school. You can send your submissions by email to kjohnson3@gannett.com.
