Yellow Jackets receive diplomas at graduation
St. Augustine High School seniors flipped their tassels Thursday evening as students received their diplomas at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
The valedictorian is Addison Grey Smith and salutatorian is Anderson Phillip Davis.

Big month for concerts
June will be a big month for live concerts at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
Some of the top shows include multiple-day festivals (Good Vibes Summer Tour, Fool's Paradise). but also Jason Isbell and Sheryl Crow will be playing for two nights. But there are very few tickets left to most concerts.

School attendance zone changes
The school board Tuesday approved updates to St. Johns County School District attendance zones, and as a result, some students will face changes in the 2022-23 school year.
Students who will be affected should have already been notified by their new school, according to the district.

Cody Johnson plans Amphitheatre show
Country superstar Cody Johnson returns to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19 with special guest Randy Houser.
Johnson most recently performed in St. Augustine on Sept. 4, 2021. Johnson, a former bull-rider, started playing music at 12 years old.

Officials confident in hurricane upgrades
St. Johns County and St. Augustine officials say they are confident that if the area were to get walloped by a storm along the lines of Matthew or Irma again, it would fare better.
That's because over the last several years, both the county and the city have made some major upgrades to infrastructure.
