Graffiti On Black Lives Matter Marquee At Maryland Middle School Being Investigated As Hate Crime

Police are investigating a report of graffiti at a Howard County middle school as a hate crime, officials said Monday.

VIC CARTER: Well, new at 6:00, Howard County is investigating vandalism at Glenwood Middle School. The school superintendent says a marquee, stated "Black Lives Matter," and on Saturday the word black was covered with spray paint. The sign was quickly restored. Dr. Michael Martirano condemns the vandalism and the racial undertones, and says this is being investigated as a hate crime.
