Rapper Post Malone will end his 24-city nationwide tour with a stop at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino.
Malone’s North American “If Ya’ll Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying” tour begins on July 8 in Noblesville, Indiana, and ends on Aug. 19 with a musical stop at Glen Helen, just south of the High Desert.
On Tuesday, Malone announced his fifth full-length album, “Austin,” the record named after the rapper’s birth name, Austin Richard Post, according to Variety.
The Grammy-winning artist’s album will drop on July 28, preceded by the single “Mourning,” due out Friday. The album follows last year’s “Twelve Carat Toothache.”
“I love y’all so very much and I’m so excited to get out and do some more shows for y’all,” said Malone, 27, in a written statement. “Help me put a baby through college and come on out. Some cool new production, new songs, and a very very handsome man up on stage. Sending love to you and yours.”
New baby, new lifestyle
Last month, the rapper shared a selfie on Instagram and addressed concerns from fans who noticed that he had recently lost weight.
"Hello everybody, I hope you're having a great night. I wanted to say that I'm not doing drugs," Malone wrote in the caption. "I've had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and I'd suppose, performance on stage. I'm having a lot of fun performing, and have never felt healthier."
Malone admitted that he's been prioritizing his health and made changes to his diet since welcoming his first child, a daughter, with his fiancée in May 2022, according to People.
"I guess dad life kicked in and I decided to kick soda and start eating better so I can be around for a long time for this little angel," he said. "Next up is smokes and brews, but I like to consider myself a patient man… lol!"
Malone added that he's been back in the studio working on new music. He also thanked his fans for their patience and support.
