The “Inhale (Exhale) Tour” kicks off in Nashville, Tenn., in February and will visit 36 cities in the U.S., reaching the Northwest in the spring.

Other Northwest shows include Portland, Ore., on April 7, followed by Kennewick (April 8), Everett (April 9) and Spokane (April 10).

The first four performances on the tour were rescheduled shows that were postponed from the fall tour because of the COVID pandemic.

A movie based on the life of frontman Bart Millard, who wrote their hit song, “I Can Only Imagine,” after the loss of his father, was released in 2018 by Lionsgate, Roadside Attractions.

In conjunction with the release, Millard wrote a memoir and the band released a collection of hits titled, “I Can Only Imagine – The Very Best Of MercyMe,” said the release.

The same year, the group was named Top Christian Artist at the Billboard Music Awards.

Since its debut in 2001, the band has sold more than 9 million CDs singles and DVDs, said the release.

The Inhale(Exhale) album is their 10th.
