GRAND CHUTE –  Even with other health care providers already having a strong presence in the Fox Cities, Prevea Health thinks there's room for more.

In July, Prevea opened a new clinic at 3750 N. Investors Court, off Interstate 41 and Richmond Street. The 12,000-square-foot building, constructed with an approximate cost of $4.5 million, offers family medicine, urgent care and some specialties.

It's Prevea's second Fox Cities location, after it opened an Appleton office in 2019.

Dr. Ashok Rai, Prevea president and CEO, said company leaders were aware of the other health care providers near the new location but data showed the need of more physicians in the area.

"After we were given that and after certain strategic partnerships and employers wanted us there, it made sense for us to continue to grow in that market," Rai said.

Services offered are primary and urgent care, as well as laboratory, colon and rectal surgery, physical therapy, women's care, pediatrics, podiatry and MRI mammography.

Its Appleton clinic, at 2700 E. Enterprise Ave., already offered these services, but most of them will move to the new location at Grand Chute.

Asked if the personnel will move from one clinic to another or if there were new hires, Rai said it was "a combination of both."

The Appleton location still will have services like behavioral care, digestive health and weight-loss treatment.
