The grand jury indictment, filed in March, states Houghton assaulted the four victims with a machete.

HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster said three females and one male were injured with lacerations at the intersection of Academy Drive and Highway 72 in Huntsville. At the time of the incident, Huntsville Police said all victims were expected to survive.

Surveillance video from the scene showed the male victim, who appears to be wounded, running from the scene and stumbling into the doorway of a nearby gas station.

According to court records, Houghton’s jury trial is set for July 15.
