Goodwill Manasota opened a 3,650-square-foot attended donation center in Nokomis on Jan. 20. The Laurel Square ADC is at 8479 Precision Drive.With this new location, Goodwill hopes to support growth in the area, provide a convenient option for residents to donate gently used goods and maximize retail revenues in support of its mission services. This is Goodwill Manasota’s 20th ADCs.

Lauren Clark recently opened her business, Cass St. Cycles, in a space she shares with two other small business owners at 5444 McIntosh Road, in Sarasota.

Clark builds custom BMX bikes and provides service and rentals.

Pete Reali owns Tommy Tint's, specializing in auto/residential window tinting, ceramic 3M coating and paint protection. The third business, owned by Jay Perez, offers vehicle detailing, paint correction and lighting.

A new ALDI opened Jan. 26 at 8580 Heritage Green Way, in Bradenton.

The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. More than 1,000 ALDI stores have opened throughout America over the past decade.

ALDI offers fresh, organic produce delivered daily. The grocer sells mostly exclusive brands.

ALDI asks shoppers to bring reusable bags and has never offered single-use plastic bags.

The stores offer grocery delivery.
