Grand View sees football season end in NAIA semifinals with loss to Keiser

The Grand View football team saw its season come to an end Saturday in the NAIA semifinals with a 38-21 loss to Keiser University (FL).

The Vikings fell behind 7-0 early when Michael Robinson hauled in a 48-yard pass from Shea Spencer to complete a 92-yard drive. Grand View never held a lead at all during the afternoon. They wrap their season up with a 13-1 record.

Third downs were part of Grand View's undoing in the semifinal. The offense converted just 4-of-15 third down tries. Keiser was successful on 11-of-20 tries on the money down.

Johnny Sullivan, Grand View's prolific quarterback, led the team on offense with 436 yards and three touchdowns through the air. Though he had two interceptions and only completed 27 of his 60 total attempts on the afternoon. The Vikings only ran the ball 10 times all game long and they finished the game with -13 yards rushing.
