Grandson Who Lives Away Is Surprised With Early Christmas Celebrations on Thanksgiving

A man unable to go back to his native South Carolina for Christmas had a big surprise on Thanksgiving when his family decided to celebrate early so that he “could have a little bit of home to go back with him!”

La’Tekia Magazine recorded the beautiful moment when the matriarch told her grandson Mike that Christmas had come early. “We wanted to do Christmas with you,” she can be heard saying, “because you won’t be here for Christmas.”

La’Tekia Magazine told Storyful that Mike, who lives in California, had to choose between the two celebrations to be with his family.

“My mom called all of her kids and grandkids and asked them to bring gifts to the Thanksgiving dinner and place them under the tree for Mike,” she said.

She uploaded the video to her YouTube channel Zara Bug and said that this kind of gesture was nothing new to the family.
