Granite Falls, Minnesota, teenager injured Sunday morning in rollover

— A 17-year-old driver from Granite Falls was injured Sunday morning in a rollover on U.S. Highway 212 near Bird Island.

The girl, who was not identified further, was driving a 2008 Ford F-150 pickup westbound near the intersection with 380th Street when the pickup entered the south ditch and rolled, according a report from the Minnesota State Patrol.

The girl was transported to Olivia Hospital & Clinic in Olivia with injuries described as non-life-threatening. She was wearing a seat belt, the airbag deployed and alcohol was not involved, according to the report.

Bird Island Medical Response Unit, Bird Island Fire Department, Olivia Ambulance and the Renville County Sheriff's Office also responded to the crash reported at 9:29 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, in Bird Island Township of Renville County.
