Grant Holloway's nickname "Wonder Boy" is fitting for the first-time Olympian.

His performance at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials in June turned heads, but the 23-year-old has been shattering records since his collegiate days at Florida. Holloway won eight NCAA titles and the Bowerman Award in 2019 after being a finalist the year prior.

And track isn't the only thing he's good at. Holloway was a four-star wide receiver coming out of high school and had high-Division I offers.

Ultimately though, Holloway chose his love for running and a dream of competing at the Olympics, something playing football couldn't fulfill. That dream is becoming a reality in Tokyo.

Grant Holloway was one-hundredth of a second off the world record in the 110-meter hurdles at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials in June 2021. The Tokyo Olympics are his first.
