Granville High School students present 'Chicago: Teen Edition' May 5-6

Granville High School presents "Chicago: Teen Edition" this spring! The show is presented in arrangement with Concord Theatricals. Set in the jazz age of the roaring '20s, "Chicago: Teen Edition" tells the story of Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, two women searching for stardom while also being tried for murder. Both of them land in the Cook County Jail as they plot their comeback to the spotlight and release from prison. There’s greed, scandal, betrayal and a dash of razzle dazzle! Chicago is one of the longest running American musicals in Broadway history.

Granville High School's production of "Chicago: Teen Edition" is directed by Sara Wiper Rodocker and Stefanie Stanton with technical direction from Tim Stanton and assistant technical director Kate Miller. Ella Holtsberry is the production stage manager with assistant stage managers Lani Casto and Sarah Soliman. The student directors are Caroline Schehl and Lexi Vaile. Velma Kelly is played by Anna Belt and Roxie Hart is played by Lilly Reese! Cory Hammond is Billy Flynn, Sebastian Barth is Amos Hart, and Lucy Waggoner is Matron "Mama" Morton.
