Grateful Dead tribute band festival returns to Ventura County Fairgrounds

Following a two-year absence due to the pandemic, Skull & Roses, a four-day Grateful Dead tribute band festival, returns to the Ventura County Fairgrounds this week.

It features more than 30 bands playing from Thursday through Sunday.

And for the first time since the festival debuted in 2017, an actual member of the Grateful Dead will play there. Bassist Phil Lesh will close out the celebration with a two-hour set 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

For more information and to purchase tickets, go to the Skull & Roses website.
