Grays Harbor County man injured, passenger killed in wreck on I-90, State Patrol says

A Grays Harbor County man was injured and his passenger killed in a rollover wreck in Eastern Washington Saturday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.

About 12:30 p.m., the 42-year-old McCleary man was driving east on I-90 near the town of Sprague. Troopers say he drove off the road to the right and crashed into two construction barrels, then drove back across the eastbound lanes and into the median where the vehicle rolled over.

Both the McCleary man and his passenger were ejected from the vehicle. The male passenger died at the scene.

The injured McCleary man was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Drugs or alcohol are thought to have played a role in the crash, according to State Patrol.
