2023 Great Bay Food Truck Festival
STRATHAM — The third annual Great Bay Food Truck Festival is coming to Stratham Hill Park, produced by the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce and Stratham Parks and Recreation Department, with support from Service Credit Union. The family-friendly event takes place on Saturday, May 6 from noon to 4 p.m.
This event has sold out in previous years. Tickets are $20 for the VIP session with early entry at noon and $10 for general admission that begins at 1 p.m. Children under four are free.
Food from over 25 trucks will offer seafood, chowder, gyros, tacos, sandwiches, burgers, crepes, ice cream, desserts, and more. Live music will be provided by the Wheel of Awesome and our younger festival goers can spend some time in the Kid’s Zone, sponsored by Eastern Propane. Those over 21 can bring an ID and visit the beer garden, sponsored by the Old Salt Restaurant. There is plenty of parking available and reserved parking sponsored by Bridges Brothers Movers.

NH Healthy Families’ Green to Go! van to bring fresh food to Newmarket
NEWMARKET — NH Healthy Families, serving Medicaid, Marketplace and Medicare members, will partner with Lamprey Health Care and Newmarket Housing Authority to bring its Green to Go! van offering fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meat, nutrition education, resources and supports to the Newmarket community at no cost. NH Healthy Families’ Green to Go! van will be at the Newmarket Housing Authority, 34 Gordon Avenue, Newmarket, for one day only on Wednesday, May 10 from 2 to 5 p.m. or until supplies last. The event is free and open to the community on a first-come, first-served basis.

Great Bay Yacht Club to hold Laser Regatta
DOVER — Great Bay Yacht Club of Dover, in conjunction with the Piscataqua Sailing Association, announces the annual Spring Laser Regatta will be held Saturday, May 20, at Hilton State Park with 9 a.m. registration, 10 a.m. Skippers Meeting, First Gun: 11 a.m. approximately, High tide is 2:09 p.m. Over the years, GBYC has been working with local sailors to keep the spirit of sailing alive in the Great Bay area.

Friends of the Dover Public Library May Book Sale
DOVER — The Friends of the Dover Public Library are having a book sale beginning on Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7 in the library lecture hall. All leftovers will be free on Monday. May 8. Hours will be Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Prices range from 50 cents to $3, and all proceeds go to the Friends of the Dover Public Library funds which are used to help support the library in many ways. BG’s Boat House is open for 2023, celebrates 46th year

Great Bay Yacht Club recreating history in Dover
DOVER — Great Bay Yacht Club of Dover announces a historic MerryMac Regatta will be held on Saturday, June 24, at Hilton State Park in conjunction with the Dover400 festivities. Over the years, GBYC has been working with local sailors to keep the spirit of the historic sailboat alive in the Great Bay area.
