Great Plains Lutheran students honored during Fall Awards Ceremony

Eighteen Great Plains Lutheran students received special awards during the school's Fall Awards Ceremony on Sunday at the school.

Awards were presented for volleyball, boys and girls cross country, football and oral interp.

Special award winners, by activity, include:

Volleyball — Olivia Holmen, most valuable; Kyrie Roberts, Panther Award; Grace Powers, Defensive MVP; Esta Cameron, Offensive MVP; and Lanaya Hayes, most improved.

Cross Country — Thad Kratz, boys most valuable and Panther Award; Halle Bauer, girls most valuable and Taylor Bendix and Daria Poor, Girls Panther Award.

Football — RJ Perry, most valuable an Panther Award; Myles York, MVP Defense; Thomas Erickson, MVP Offense; Joseph Dahlberg, most valuable lineman; and Micah Holien and Brody Scharlemann, most improved.

Oral Interp — Norah Kranz, most valuable; Jakson Cowles, Panther Award and Emma Kanzenbach, State Oral Interp Team.

Letter winners include:

Volleyball — Seniors Kim Goens, Lanaya Hayes and Kyrie Roberts; juniors Olivia Holmen and Grace Powers; sophomores Esta Cameron, Emma Dornbusch, Myra Lentz, Madeline Prahl and Kaitlyn Rawerts; freshman Abby Kjenstad and managers Anna Rubendall, Yabesera Wurgessa

Boys Cross Country — Sophomores Isaiah Berg, Dominick Clark, Landon Czerwan, Seth Grams and Thad Kratz; and freshman Tyler Clark.

Girls Cross Country — Seniors Emma Kanzenbach, Catie Neumann and Daria Poor; juniors Halle Bauer and Hannah Berg; and sophomore Taylor Bendix.
