A Greater Cincinnati high school student will spin the famous wheel this week.

Ross Campbell, a sophomore at Carlisle High School, will compete on "Wheel of Fortune" Feb. 24, Christopher Orenic, communications manager for the show, confirmed to The Enquirer.

After auditioning, the show selected Campbell to be a contestant, and he flew to Los Angeles, California, to film the Feb. 24 episode at Sony Pictures Studio. Campbell will appear during Teen Week.

According to a press release, "Wheel of Fortune" is Campbell's favorite TV show. He plans to use any winnings he receives from the show to fund his college education and buy a new computer and car.

Campbell's "Wheel of Fortune" episode will air on Fox 19 (WXIX-TV) at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24. The episode will also be available to stream on Hulu + Live TV and Pluto TV.
