The Greatest Dancer viewers in awe of stunning ballroom routine
Move over, Strictly Come Dancing stars, there's a new ballroom couple on the dance floor after your glitterball.
Married couple, Alex and Jacqueline performed their stunning ballroom performance in tonight's (January 25) episode of The Greatest Dancer and were an instant hit, with both the judges and viewers.
Before the performance, Jacqueline told Curtis Pritchard: "We're fighters so we want everything to be perfect, that should make us such a good team."
Alex added: "When we dance, we can tell everybody you can do anything you want."
Jacqueline's wheelchair didn't hold the couple back, and their performance was beautiful, an opinion shared by the judges.
"We haven't actually had anyone come out here and do a ballroom piece," judge Oti said after their performance.
"But the fact you can do a beautiful Foxtrot and still have a lot of rise and fall. You did a fallaway whisk and led that into a fallaway drop and then you did this incredible lift!"
Viewers also loved the performance, one writing: "Alex and Jacqueline are exactly what this show is about, I'm beyond captivated, awed and mind blown at the level of strength and story telling. What incredible, brave and empowering people."
Another added: "Well that was stunning. Alex and Jacqueline just gave me goosebumps. What a beautiful connection they have".
More heaped praise on the pair:

The feedback from Oti was nearly as beautiful as the dance itself. She didn’t refer to a disability once. #GreatestDancer

@CherylOfficial extraordinary talent once again on The Greatest Dancer. Just goes to show how universal dance is when you have a policeman dance like that with his wife. #GreatestDancer
