Greece joins G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine

Greece has become the 14th country to join the G7 declaration of support for Ukraine, which is to serve as a framework document for future security guarantees.

Details: He thanked Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis for his commitment to the Ukrainian-Greek partnership.
"We are working together on Ukraine's path to NATO," President Zelenskyy said.
Background:
Athens and Kyiv recently held direct talks to conclude a bilateral agreement resulting in Greece's commitment to provide Ukraine with security guarantees in several areas, not just defence.
On 11 August, Ukraine began bilateral consultations on security guarantees with the UK.
