UPDATE: The winter storm warning issued for northeastern Wisconsin will end at noon Thursday, the National Weather Service said, with about 2-4 inches of additional snow.

"Gusty winds will create blowing snow and drifts," the weather service said. "Travel will continue to be hazardous through the morning hours."

Some snowfall totals from 7 a.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday from the National Weather service for northeastern Wisconsin:

  • Oconto Falls. 9.6 inches

  • Sister Bay: 8

  • Pulaski: 7.5

  • Mountain: 7.5

  • Green Bay: 7.4

  • Casco: 6.5

  • Wrightstown: 6

With the 2-3 inches that the area received Tuesday night and early on Wednesday, the Green Bay area received about 10 inches of snow in a 36-hour span.

Many schools closed early on Wednesday and all Brown County schools were closed on Thursday.

Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport

Flights in and out of Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport have been canceled on Wednesday evening. Most of Thursday morning's flights have been canceled, too, said Airport Director Marty Piette in a statement. Piette said travelers on canceled flights have been rebooked and that people with flight plans in the next 24 hours should check with their airline to get the most up-to-date information.

The airport's runways still will be cleared of snow for general aviation traffic, but the airport will not resume normal operations until commercial flights resume.

“As Wisconsin, and much of the nation, is hit with a major winter storm, airlines serving Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) have proactively canceled flights for the rest of today and have rebooked travelers," Piette said in a media statement. "There are no additional commercial flights in or out of GRB today. Additionally, most flights for tomorrow morning have also been canceled."

Prevea Health

Prevea Health will be open Thursday after closing all locations, including urgent care sites, in Wisconsin starting at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Prevea, based in Green Bay, has locations in northeastern Wisconsin and western Wiscosnin in the Eau Claire area.

Lambeau Field Atrium

The Lambeau Field Atrium and its businesses — Packers Pro Shop, 1919 Kitchen & Tap, Packers Hall of Fame and stadium tours — will close at 5 p.m. today and all day Thursday.

Tubing and skating at Titletown Ariens Hill and Hy-Vee Plaza will be closed today and Thursday, as will 46 Below and Rockwood Terrace.

Neville museum closing early, all day Thursday

The Neville Public Museum of Brown County will close at 2 p.m. today and be closed all day Thursday, It will reopen at 9 a.m. Friday. Updates can be found on its Facebook page.

Green Bay snow emergency

The city will be under a snow emergency until 10 p.m. Thursday. In a snow emergency:

  • No vehicle is allowed to park on any Green Bay street until the snow emergency has expired.

  • Overnight on-street parking permissions will not be granted.

  • Vehicles found parking on-street during the snow emergency will be tagged, ticketed, and towed at the owner's expense.

Ashwaubenon snow emergency

The village is under a snow emergency from 6 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Friday.

No parking is allowed on village streets.

Howard snow emergency

The village of Howard declared a snow emergency that goes into effect at 5 p.m. Wednesday and lasts until 5 a.m. Friday.

Under the snow emergency:

  • On-street parking will not be granted for the duration of the snow emergency.

  • Vehicles found stuck or abandoned in the street or parking on-street during the snow emergency will be tagged, ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

  • Street parking will resume Thursday morning if your street has been plowed completely (from curb to curb) for one hour after plowing.

Garbage collection will remain on schedule.

Hobart weather delays, closings

The village declared a snow emergency from 6 p.m. Wednesday until 6 p.m. Thursday. No vehicles can be parked on village streets and roads during this time.

Also, Thursday's garbage and recycling collection will be delayed until Friday.

The village office will also be closed Thursday. The Village Board meeting tonight will still be held, starting at 6 p.m.

De Pere delays garbage/recycling pickup

De Pere will not pick up garbage and recycling on Thursday; collection will occur on Friday.

The city asks residents not to place carts out on Thursday because of the heavy snow and high winds forecast.

The city has also declared a snow emergency from 5 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Friday. "No vehicles should be parked on the streets during this period to facilitate snow plowing operations."

UPDATE: All UW-Green Bay classes online Thursday

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has canceled classes from 2:15-5 p.m. today. Evening classes today will be online. All Thursday classes will be online.
