Green Bay Packers season tickets will cost more in 2023.

The team said Wednesday prices would increase $3 to $9 per game for the five levels of bowl seating at Lambeau Field. Preseason-game tickets are $1 to $5 more. The increases are between 2.4% and 5.8% for regular-season games, depending on seat location.

The Packers did not raise prices in 2021, following having no fans in Lambeau Field for the 2020 regular season, and only limited fans for two home playoff games. Prices were increased just less than 5% for the 2022 season.

The Packers will host eight regular-season home games and two preseason games this year. The Green package will get six regular season and one preseason games. The Gold package will get two regular-season and one preseason games.

Gold package ticket holders will have the highest out-of-pocket increases this year because they are paying for three games instead of two. With the NFL's unbalanced 17-game schedule, the Gold package did not include a preseason game in 2022. Increases for the full season range from $70 to $101 more. Green package full-season increases range from $19 to $59.

"Our overall average ticket price, which includes general bowl and premium seating components, will be just below the NFL's average," Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy said in a letter to season ticket holders that was included with invoices sent Wednesday. "We try to keep our tickets as affordable as possible. Additionally, as a business partner to the other 31 NFL clubs, we also want to include an appropriate visiting team share when arriving at our pricing each season."

Ticket prices were not raised from 2007 through 2009 and the Packers' average price fell to near the bottom of the NFL. Other NFL teams were not pleased, reasoning that because the Packers sell out every game and have a waiting list of more than 140,000, they should charge more. Visiting teams receive a share of ticket revenue.

The Packers have that waiting list of more than 140,000 and about 38,000 ticket accounts for 81,441-seat Lambeau Field. The renewal rate is more than 99%, the Packers say, which means ticket prices have not reached a tipping point and may be a long way from it.

Payment is due by March 31.

Single-game drawing

The Packers will continue the Brown County lottery, the random drawing of names for single-game tickets for county residents. The drawing started after the county agreed to pay a 0.5% sales tax for the renovation of Lambeau Field in 2003. The drawing will include 2,500 seats per home game.

Fans can sign up at packers.com/browncounty or by going to the Packers ticket office, the Packers Pro Shop or the guest services desk in the Lambeau Field Atrium. Registration is accepted throughout the year.

Pay As We Play

Fans can sign up for the Pay As We Play option for playoff games. The Packers could host as many as three home playoff games, although one or two is most likely. By registering for Pay As We Play, ticket holders commit to buying tickets for all home playoff games but are charged for them only as the team qualifies for each.

By registering online for Pay As We Play, both Green and Gold package ticket holders can lock in special pricing for a possible wild card home game. Those special ticket prices, which range from $115 to $149, are lower than their respective regular-season prices.

Green package holders have the first right of refusal on seat locations for the playoffs and are asked to commit by Aug. 11. Gold package holders who register by Aug. 11 will be placed in a drawing and, if selected, randomly assigned seats not used by the Green package holders.

Premium seat prices, such as club seats and suites, are set per client contracts. Information regarding those prices was mailed to premium seat ticket holders.
