Suspect in slaying on Packerland Drive arrested in Alabama, Green Bay police say

Caleb Anderson

GREEN BAY - The suspect in a slaying Tuesday on the west side was arrested Wednesday in Alabama, Green Bay Police said.

Police were looking for Caleb Anderson of Iron Mountain, Michigan, who police said was driving the victim's car. The car was seen on Packerland Drive shortly after the time police believe the victim was slain. Authorities also have recovered the victim's car.

They still have not released the victim's name, or said if the victim had been a permanent Green Bay resident.

Police did not say where in Alabama that Anderson was arrested but earlier said he has ties to the Greenville area of southern Alabama.

Officers were called to 1320 Packerland Drive about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday for a welfare check. They discovered a body and said the death was suspicious.
