Green Bay Rockers donning Wisconsin staple, play in Supper Clubbers alternate on Fridays in 2024
ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) – The state of Wisconsin is well known for a handful of its staples and traditions; cheese, Lambeau Field, brats, and of course, its Supper Clubs.
The Green Bay Rockers, members of the Northwoods League, will honor two great Wisconsin traditions for every Friday home game this summer and don its new alternate identity, the Supper Clubbers.
“Two great Wisconsin past times come together in one place this summer,” a Facebook post from the baseball club reads.

“The rich history of Supper Clubs in Wisconsin embodies gathering with friends and family to enjoy great food, drinks, and good company in a nostalgic setting,” said general manager John Fanta. “We pride ourselves on providing those same elements for our baseball games during the summer and this is a fun way to accentuate these traditions during our three Friday night games.”
The history of Supper Clubs in Wisconsin runs deep and offers classics that many Wisconsinites enjoy. From Friday night fish fries, prime rib, roasted chicken, salad bars, and Old Fashioneds, what is there not to enjoy about a good ol’ Wisconsin Supper Club.
The alternate identity comes through a partnership with Drink Wisconsinbly.

“The neon glow of the Supper Clubbers wordmark is intended to give off that warm, welcoming glow of the open sign at your favorite Supper Club,” said Alex Dozek, Graphic Designer and creator of the Supper Clubbers jerseys and hats. “Since we are wearing the jerseys on Fridays, you have to have the fish fry and old fashioned. Those are represented by the fish on our game hats, and the state of Wisconsin on the sleeve of the jersey in the style of a glass with the orange and cherry on a pick.”
There will also be three specialty Fridays at Capital Credit Union Park that will feature a Friday fish fry dinner paired with Drink Wisconsinbly Old Fashioneds available for purchase.
