Green beer, pub crawls and more: A list of St. Patrick's Day events in Austin

If you're looking to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, check out these events for beer, music and special Irish offerings. All events take place on March 17 unless stated otherwise.

B. D. Riley's Irish Pub

B. D. Riley's — voted "Best Irish Pub in Texas" in 2022 by The Irish Post — will open their doors at 10 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day. Daithi Arwine, The Chancers and Kristen Gibbs Band will perform. The pub is also hosting what they call St. "Practice" Day on March 11. The festivities begin at 6:15 a.m., and a Liverpool vs Bournemouth soccer game watch party starts at 6:30 a.m. Two rugby watch parties will follow, and the same musicians performing on St. Patrick's Day will perform on St. "Practice" Day.

Cork & Barrel Craft Kitchen + Microbrewery

This event is a combo celebration for St. Patrick's Day and Cork & Barrel's second birthday. The kitchen will serve green beer, fish and chips, Reuben fries, pizza by the slice and more. There will also be live music, laser lights and four beer garden satellite bars. The event runs from 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

Pluckers Killeen

Killeen's Pluckers location will host a St. Paddy's party complete with armadillo racing, professional juggling, face painting, a bounce house, a DJ and balloon twisting. The party runs from 4-9 p.m.

Barcrawlerz Kiss Me, I'm Irish

Beginning at The Cat's Pajamas, Barcrawlerz will lead St. Paddy's Day drinkers on a two-day bar crawl: the first on March 17 and the second on March 18. The Friday crawl begins at 6 p.m., and the Saturday bar crawl starts at 2 p.m. Both crawls include The Dogwood, Happy Chicks, Star Bar and more. Participants must purchase a wristband.

Gnar Bar South by Saint Paddy's Day

While not actually SXSW affiliated, Gnar Bar is taking advantage of the festival hype with their South by Saint Paddy's Day celebration. The bar will offer punk and EDM music from 12 p.m.-2 a.m. for a $10 general admission ticket.

Vista Brewing

This family-friendly event will offer a scavenger hunt for kids and a $25 Pot 'O Gold ale special for adults.

PubCrawls.com Official Austin St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl

This crawl starts at 4 p.m. at Kung Fu Saloon. Tickets are required and include free entry to participating bars.

Jack & Ginger's St. Patrick's Day Street Festival

Bagpipes, green beer and live music will take over not just Jack & Ginger's Irish Pub but Rock Rose Avenue in Domain NORTHSIDE. The event runs from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Scholz Presents St. Patty's Day

This free event for all ages runs from 1-6 p.m. and offers special food and drinks as well as live music.
