Nov. 28—West Virginia Governor Jim Justice presented a $5 million check to the Greenbrier Valley Airport Tuesday in Lewisburg. Chairman of the Greenbrier Valley Airport Authority Mike Rose said the airport is the economic engine for the entire region including Pocahontas, Summers and Monroe counties. "You build a mile of road you can go one mile, you build a mile of runway you can anywhere in the world," he said. The money will go towards runway improvements and terminal renovations.
