Greene County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 49% of people fully vaccinated

Some 49% of people living in Greene County are fully vaccinated as of Jan. 25, according to data from Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Missouri reported 1,289,414 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 7% from the week before.

The five areas with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in Missouri as of Jan. 25 are Jasper County (73%), St. Louis County (62%), St. Charles County (62%), Boone County (61%) and St. Louis city (54%).
