Greensburg schools approve staff and donations

Dec. 22—GREENSBURG — The Greensburg Community Schools Board of Education met Dec. 12 to review the monthly financial report, approve vouchers and previous meeting minutes as well as appointments, resignations and donations.

The board approved the following resignations: Jaimee Motz from Greensburg Elementary School Special Ed teaching position, Samantha Reed from Greensburg Jr. High School Special Ed assistant position, Lindsay Mays from GJHS math teaching position, Ashley Tabor from GJHS custodian position, Clayton Back from GCS Tech Department, and Carolyn Mitchell from GHS cafeteria.

Also approved: Brooke Harrelson for a leave of absence from a GJHS math position; Tara Haley, GCHS cafeteria employee; Tammy Bullington, GCHS cafeteria employee; Laura Charles, GJHS custodian; Derek Cornn, GJHS assistant wrestling coach; Candice Roell, temporary math teacher at GJHS; and Doug Watson, technology support.

A total of $5,050 and two 75" TVs were accepted as donations to the corporation. The TVs were donated by the Tiger Sharks to the school's swim program.

The next regular meeting of the board is scheduled at 6 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Greensburg Central Office.
