Greenville license plate agency to close for remainder of 2023
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles license plate agency in Greenville is set to temporarily close on Friday, according to a news release.
The agency located in the DMV/DOT Building at 4651 N. Creek Dr. in Greenville has been operating under a temporary contract since June 2021. The agency will close its doors at 5 p.m. on Friday.
A new contractor has been selected, and the agency is expected to reopen in early 2024.
The following three nearby license plate agencies offer service Monday through Friday:
Greenville, 2462 Stantonsburg Rd., from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Farmville, 3672 N. Main St., from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Washington, 127 N. Market St., from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
