Life360 offers these tips to parents regarding child safety on Halloween

∎ Whether you are running through a haunted maze or trick-or-treating in a brand-new neighborhood, make sure to share your location with your loved ones via word of mouth, a phone call or text.

∎ When looking for the right place to secure a great candy haul for your children, be sure to choose safe, family-friendly communities.

∎ Young adults should have a designated driver or a loved one to call for a ride. Always make sure to drive safely.

∎ Teach children and teens to never enter a home while trick-or-treating. The same advice goes for cars, vans and invitations to new locations. It is important to teach children to say "no" to keep themselves and their friends safe. Teenagers and young adults should carefully vet any destinations/addresses for parties or haunted houses they are invited to and share these locations with their parents.
