Greenwood girls win Arkansas 5A basketball title

The Greenwood High School girls basketball team continued their winning ways, and kept the dynasty going Thursday as they took home a seventh state title.

The Lady Bulldogs easily defeated Vilonia 58-35 in Hot Springs at the Bank OZK Arena.

Tulsa signee Mady Cartwright was named the Most Valuable Player for the second straight season. The Lady Bulldogs won the state championship in 2021-2022. This is their seventh under Coach Clay Reeves.

The Lady Bulldogs finished the 2022-2023 season 31-2.
