Greg Cote Show podcast: The greatest sitcom characters in TV history. Fierce debate, final verdict

“Four Guys Sittin’ Around Arguing About The All-Time Greatest Sitcom Characters” would be the (rather unwieldy) headline for the latest Greg Cote Show podcast, out now, inviting you to lend an ear. Or two.

This is our fourth episode of 2022 and landmark 95th overall. And it makes history for our pod, because for the first time it’s four guys sitting in the same room, face-to-face, eye-to-eye, mic-to-mic. No Zoom. No phone lines. Strictly interpersonal conversation.

The guys: Greg, son/co-host Chris, younger son Michael and friend Alex Benson, host of the Shut The Funk Up podcast.

The topic: Greatest sitcom characters. Hear who’s egregiously omitted, the surprises and the ultimate winners as the guys reveal their Mount Rushmores. Well, one gives you a Mount Gregmore, of course. (Greg might not know movies, but he’s on fire with this subject).

Naturally, the free-wheeling conversation veers off down a bunch of side alleys. Gets combative, but it’s mirth-y. You’ll enjoy it.

Also in the the new episode:

Ranking best friends.

The Florida Panthers are the best hockey team on the planet.

The Buffalo Bills throw a perfect game in the NFL playoffs. (The Buffalo bleepin’ Bills!)

And Greg files a live (but rudely interrupted) report from a wedding he’s attending on Amelia Island in upstate Florida.

Hear all of this and more in our newest podcast! A new episode drops every Monday morning at 7 a.m. on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google, Megaphone, Stitcher — all free, wherever and whenever you do your podding, including of course at Miamiherald.com. Find the entire GCS catalog HERE. (The show also simulcasts on Sirius XM radio Mondays firom 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.).

Our podcast debuted in March 2020, just before the pandemic hit. (Sorry. Don’t blame us). We thank you all, our pod family, for your great and growing support. Please continue to listen, rate, review, follow, then unfollow and follow again and so on. It isn’t cheating, and it helps us a ton. Tell your friends, too!
