Greg Cote Show podcast: Heat/Panthers talk leads to Greg & Chris mocking the other’s pressbox demeanor

The latest episode of The Greg Cote Show podcast, out now, features Greg and Chris (plus the return of Yeti) rhapsodizing over the Miami Heat and Florida Panthers as both No. 8-seed underdogs shock the world (and South Florida) by each reaching their sport’s Eastern Conference finals, which begin this week.

Greg and Chris both were at the Heat’s clinching victory Friday night, the same night the Cats were advancing with an overtime win in Toronto. It’s a different, rather new father-son dynamic with both being at a sporting event as credentialed media: Greg actually working and writing for the Miami Herald, and Chris there representing Meadowlark Media/The Dan Le Batard Show and pretty much goofing around.

Hear Greg blast his son for unprofessional antics such as openly cheering in the pressbox as the Panthers score the winning goal. Hear Chris counter by mocking how awkward and unfriendly his father is around fellow journalism colleagues.

This is our 19th episode of 2023 and 165th overall, and we welcome you back as always.
