BBC Radio 1's Greg James is looking over his shoulder when it comes to artificial intelligence.

Currently presenting the Channel 4 reality series Rise and Fall, which sees 16 contestants divided into 'Rulers' and 'Grafters' for the chance to take home £100,000, he spoke to The Sun about the psychological ripple effect of ChatGPT's recent launch - an impressively articulate chatbot - and what it means for those working in showbiz.

"I've got to be better than an AI!" he joked.

"That's my challenge. I mean it's quite scary, how quickly things are moving but we can work with technology.

"The internet came along, Spotify came along and, you know, it was the same when I took over [The Breakfast Show]. They would always say 'we used to have 20 million listeners' but there were only five radio stations!"

Meanwhile, just a couple of weeks ago, the DJ revealed to Men's Health that he and wife Bella Mackie are enjoying life without the stress of raising kids.

"We're just monitoring it, but basically we're both on 'no' to kids at the moment... It's where we are at the moment. We've having a nice time," he said.

Apparently, they're relaxed in the knowledge that there's "plenty of time" for all of that in the future.

"But to be honest, all of our friends make having kids look hard," James went on to caveat.

"None of them look like they're having a nice time. We're not short of babies and kids in our families."
