‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Kevin McKidd’s wife files for divorce, months after he announced split

Nobody knows where they might end up.

The wife of “Grey’s Anatomy” star Kevin McKidd officially filed for divorce, TMZ reported Tuesday, citing legal documents.

Arielle McKidd hopes to share physical and legal custody of the couple’s two children and restore her maiden name of Goldrath, according to the outlet.

The spouses, who share son Aiden, 4, and daughter Nava, 3, tied the knot in 2017. The documents don’t specify their date of separation.

McKidd, known for starring as Dr. Owen Hunt on “Grey’s Anatomy,” took to Instagram over the summer to notify his nearly 3 million followers that he and his wife had split.

“I don’t often share my personal life on social media, but today there is something I do want to share with you,” he wrote in July. “A few months ago, Arielle and I decided to end the marriage portion of our relationship. We reached this conclusion after much soul searching and discussion. We know it’s what is right for both of us.”

Noting he and Arielle “will always be there for one another,” McKidd wrote he hopes “everyone could be this blessed: to raise their kids with one of your very best friends.”
