Grin and bear it: George St. prepped for 18th George Street Bike Challenge

WORCESTER — Before the bikes take over, George Street got a once-over on Thursday. The 18th George Street Bike Challenge for Major Taylor, with participants making their way up the steep grade, takes place Sunday. The 500-foot climb, with an average grade of 18%, is a challenge for bicyclists of all levels. Champion race Marshall "Major" Taylor trained on George Street.
