Griswold Public Schools had 11 staff members earn more than $100K in 2022. Who are they?
Of the 381 Griswold School Department employees, it is not surprising that Superintendent Sean McKenna was the district's highest paid employee in fiscal 2022, with a salary of $201,146.60. McKenna is, however, the only district employee whose salary exceeded $200,000.
There were ten employees whose salaries exceeded $100,000. Salaries paid in fiscal 2022 totaled $17,402,140.
High School Principal Erin Palonen is the second highest paid employee of the district, and earned $146,926. Special Education Director Christopher Champlin was third, at $146,578.
Salaries for the fourth through the eighth highest earners ranged between $105,320 and $142,222, and those positions were all filled by school building administrators including principals Joseph Bordeau (Elementary School - $142,225) and Louis Zubek (Middle School - $123,970), assistant principals Marceline Dillon (High School - $128,679) and Jacqueline Love (Elementary School - $119,229) and the high school athletic and activity director Stephen Cravinho ($119,908).
Rounding out the top ten were high school technology director Jill Curioso ($105,320) and the Central Office's Glenn Labossiere, the district Technology, Learning and Innovation Director ($104,119).
The highest paid teachers were high school guidance teacher Suzanne Alfiero who earned $94,724 and high school music teacher Raymond Churchill who earned $87,748.
