Griswold volleyball team knocked out of tourney in semifinal round
The Griswold varsity girls’ volleyball team ended a very successful season with a Class S semifinal round loss to East Hampton, 3-2.
Griswold ended the regular season with a perfect 19-0 record, earning a number one position in the class and a bye for round one of the postseason tourney.
The team defeated Windham and Lyman Memorial to reach the semifinal match, which was played at New London High School.
The Griswold varsity girls’ volleyball team is coached by James Bruno.
The seniors on this year’s team are Kuranda Ruggiero, Emily Aviles, Kaitlyn Fasula, Makayla Neilson, and Katelyn Pasieka.
