Grocery store shelves empty amid supply chain disruptions, weather
Grocery store shelves around Maryland are empty and products are missing. Shoppers who started noticing empty shelves this week sent numerous photos to the 11 News I-Team as a nationwide problem has become a big inconvenience. The 11 News I-Team took a tour Tuesday of a number of stores in the Baltimore area and found supply issues at Food Lion, Safeway and Giant Food stores. From paper products to produce to dairy and chicken, the pickins' were slim.
