Which grocery stores deliver or offer curbside pickup in metro Phoenix? Here’s a guide

If Amazon didn’t teach us this before, over the last two years we learned that nearly everything needed for survival or the much-needed, at-home splurge can be delivered right to our doors with a few clicks on a keyboard or touchscreen.

When the pandemic hit and staying at home and distanced was the primary means of surviving it, keeping our kitchens stocked with the essentials was, well, essential. And many grocery stores came to the rescue by initiating or expanding delivery and no-contact pickup services.

While we’ve gotten a better handle on out-and-about again living, the convenience of this new method of shopping has become more of the norm, especially for metro Phoenix’s largest grocers.

Some offer in-house options for delivery, while others use the third-party service Instacart. For these services, Instacart is currently adding a fuel surcharge that will vary and could continue to adjust fees based on economic conditions.

All options require signing up for an account to get started. Some offer discounts and other perks with a membership or subscription and most give you a break on fees with a minimum purchase. Find out whether delivery is available to your home or if the store location nearest to you offers curbside pickup by searching stores’ websites.
