All major grocery stores in South Carolina’s Grand Strand will be closed on Christmas throughout, including shops in Carolina Forest, Murrells Inlet, Surfside Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Little River and Conway.

Many stores have special holiday hours for Christmas Eve, so you can wrap up your shopping on Sunday.

Whether you forgot the family potluck or need cough drops for that holiday sniffle, here are Christmas hours at grocery stores in the Myrtle Beach area.

  • Aldi: Aldi stores in the Myrtle Beach area will close at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Locations will be closed on Christmas Day.

  • Costco: The Myrtle Beach Costco will close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. It will be closed on Christmas Day.

  • Food Lion: Food Lion stores in the Myrtle Beach area will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, according to an email. Locations will be closed on Christmas Day.

  • Kroger: The Carolina Forest Kroger will close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve, while the Myrtle Beach, Garden City and North Myrtle Beach locations will close at 6 p.m., according to employees at the respective stores. All locations will be closed on Christmas Day.

  • Lowes Foods: Lowes Foods stores in the Myrtle Beach area will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, according to Google Maps. Locations will be closed on Christmas Day.

  • Piggly Wiggly: The Myrtle Beach Piggly Wiggly will close at 4 p.m. on Christmas Even while the Surfside Beach location will stay open until 6 p.m., according to employees at their respective stores. Both locations will be closed on Christmas Day.
