Group creates website to help seniors find COVID-19 vaccines
The COVID-19 vaccine rollout has been confusing for many across the state, so a group of volunteers came together to help seniors figure out where to get the shots. A team in Silicon Valley came together and within two days, the group created a website called Vaccinate CA. The website is dedicated to bringing people updated and accurate information about where they can get vaccinated. They now have a pool of 250 volunteers who make phone calls up and down the state every day, finding our who has doses of the vaccine, and where the vaccine is available.
