Group hopes to uncover history in graves hidden under Baltimore shopping center
Many people pass by or shop at the Belair-Edison Crossing Shopping Center every day, but not many people know the history of the land. It's a history that still impacts hundreds of families in Baltimore and beyond. Along Belair Road in northeast Baltimore, people will find what looks like a typical shopping center. There is a Forman Mills, a dollar store, a grocery store and more. But beneath the surface, under the cement, the shopping center has a much deeper history.
