- New tonight, a push to help immigrants and refugees living in the state. A group gathered outside the Senate President's Baltimore office to push the General Assembly to pass several bills ahead of the session ending later this month. Among the bills, prohibiting police from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, also known as ICE. Other bills would prohibit for-profit immigration detention centers in the state, and making sure ICE can't look at the MVA website without a warrant. Advocates say that immigrants are still human beings and shouldn't live in fear of being picked up by ICE.
