Group sends inspirational messages to your phone
Many people with jobs considered essential during the coronavirus restrictions are finding work that was already difficult has become even more stressful. One organization found a way to reach their staff of hundreds -- every day -- to send encouragement. Volunteers of America works with thousands of homeless people, seniors, veterans, young people who are at-risk and people battling drug addiction. It's hands-on work made even more challenging by the coronavirus. So, Volunteers of America leaders began sending daily text messages with quotes and prayers. Anyone can receive the messages.
