Nov. 1-Dec. 2

Bring the holiday spirit to local seniors who might be forgotten or alone through the Evans Angels Project Heart Strings. Purchasegifts from lists available at the Evans Center, 4330 Dudley Ave. Volunteers also are needed to wrap gifts.

Nov. 4-20

Little Theatre Off Broadway presents “Godspell.” A comedic troupe of eccentric players team up with Jesus to teach his lessons in a new age through parables, games and silliness. Performances are Thursdays through Sundays at Little Theatre Off Broadway, 3981 Broadway. Learn more at ltob.org.

Nov. 4

Celebrate National Author's Day, 4-7 p.m. at the Visit Grove City Book Fair, 3995 Broadway. Meet authors and learn about their passion for writing locally. The books are gift ideas available in the Guide+Gear store. Learn more at visitgrovecityoh.com.

Nov. 5

Visit Grove City's Book Fair continues on National Bison Day, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., with “Born on the Prairie" by author/illustrator Juliet Mullett. Nov. 6, 13 and 27

The Grove City Arts Council hosts a Sip & Shop Boutique, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the American Legion, 3363 McDowell Road. Event details are at festivalnet.com.

Nov. 8

Join members of the Grove City Community Club for the Election Day Luncheon, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Grove City Community Club, 3397 Civic Place. Learn more grovecitycommunityclub.org.

Nov. 11

The American Legion Paschall Post 164 and Veterans of Foreign War 8198 host the annual Veterans Day service at the Grove City Welcome Center and Museum, 3378 Park St., at 11 a.m. Stop by the center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to view the military exhibit featuring uniforms and memorabilia from Grove City residents.

Local female veteran and entrepreneur Serbennia Davis presents Veterans Day Paint & Sip, noon-3 p.m. at Visit Grove City, 3995 Broadway. Seating is limited; register a veteran in advance. All are invited to watch; proceeds benefit Grove City's M.A.S.H. Pantry. Learn more at visitgrovecityoh.com.

Nov. 12-13

Enjoy the talented performances of the South-Western City School District’s Honor Choir and Honor Orchestra at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 and the Grove City Community Winds and SWCSD Honor Band at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 as part of the South-Western Educational Foundation Benefit Concerts at Central Crossing High School, 4500 Big Run South Road. The Evans Center Showstoppers acting group brings a seasonal comedy to the stage in “For Goodness Sake.” Can Santa’s chief elf shift Billy’s status from naughty to nice in time for Santa’s big ride? Performances are 1 p.m. Nov. 29, 1 and 7 p.m. Nov. 30 and 1 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Evans Center, 4330 Dudley Ave.

Nov. 28-Dec. 2

Residents in need of help during the holidays in Jackson Township, Grove City and village of Urbancrest may register for the Firefighters for Kids toy distribution and the White Christmas Food Program. The White Christmas Food Drive registration is also available to residents of Galloway, Harrisburg and Orient with ZIP codes 43123, 43126, 43146 and 43119.
