Guatemala President Declares 'State of Calamity' in Response to Storm Julia

Guatemala’s President Alejandro Giammattei declared a State of Calamity as tropical cyclone Julia impacted Guatemala on Monday, October 10.

Guatemala’s meteorological agency warned of continued rain, even after the storm dissipated, due to humidity and cloudiness over the country.
